Markets in the Red phase: reinforced measures for your security

The Dieppe Market remains an essential service. Friday Express and Saturday operations continue with directional signage, ground markings, and the Virtual Market for contactless shopping.

Following the announcement made by Dr. Jennifer Russell, Chief Medical Officer of Health, we would like to reassure all our dear customers: the Dieppe Market is an essential service and all the vendors you are used to find on Fridays and Saturdays will continue to operate.

Protecting customer and vendor health has been our priority since the reopening of the market in June 2020, and we have consistently exceeded government health requirements.

Existing security measures will remain in place but reinforced. The primary addition involves directional signage and ground markings to facilitate movement and reduce unnecessary back and forth in the building.

For shoppers seeking less crowded shopping, the Friday Express Market (4–6 p.m.) offers fewer vendors and customers. Customers preferring contactless options can also use the Virtual Market — Sunday 8 a.m. through Wednesday 5 p.m., with Friday afternoon drive-thru pickups available.
